Marco Licetti
I AM SURPIRSED BY THE AMOUNT OF IGNORANCE IN RESPONSE TO MY HYDROGEN POST:
1)
You're not engineer. pLEASE UNDERSTAND It's not the same Hydrogen scheme
from 60 years ago, fuel cells have NOTHING to do with 60 year ago they were
trying to BURn hydrogen then and now we acquire energy as a result...

Fix-a-Flat Makes a Tire Un-patchable? by
panabiker
A day after I used the Fix-a-flat to drive home, I took the tire to
Costco (where I bought) to have it patched. After the clerk prepared
paper work to patch the tire, I thought I should let them know that I
used fix-a-flat as the label suggests. As soon as she heard fix-a-
flat, she said the tire...

F-150 brakes by
Tom Del Rosso[_3_]
On Top Gear, Jeremy said the F-150 is a POS. One key point was his claim
that the brake pads are "the size of bottle caps" and are inadequate for a
vehicle of this weight and power. Is that a real issue or one man's
opinion?

Aftermarket brake parts by
Paul Hovnanian P.E.
I'm helping a friend replace worn brake pads on an '02 Audi A6 wagon.
The dealer wants $275 for a rear wheel kit. That's pretty pricey (I
think my factory Porsche pads are cheaper). Who makes (and who sells)
aftermarket parts of reasonable quality?
Some cars are pretty finiky about brake pads,...

62 MPG by the Year 2025 by
PolicySpy[_3_]
Currently the CAFE standards have been defined and administered as a
5% annual increase in vehicle fuel mileage resulting in 35.5 MPG by
the year 2016.
Now it's being said that if the fuel mileage requirements are
increased 6% annually beginning in 2017 that the CAFE fuel mileage
will be 62 MPG by...

Interesting solution to an alignment problem by

1989 Mazda 626. I replaced the lower control arm on the pass side in

New Tire - Must Be On Rear? by
CWLee
6 months ago got a set of 4 new tires at Costco. 5000 miles
later one tire, right front, failed. Costco replaced it,
charging me about $30 for my tread wear. So far so good.
Then Costco said it was required (implication was by law) to
put the new tire on the rear, and move the slightly used...

GM 4.2L Vortec I6 - timing belt or chain? by
ray
(envoy, trailblazer)
Google is not not helping me... I'm pretty sure it's a chain, but I
might be buying a used Envoy, and there's lots for sale with 150,000km
(90,000 miles) which would be just under the 100,000km/60,000mile belt
replacement if it has one.
