Factory recommended service intervals by Eye In The Sky
Just bought me a new V6 Accord sedan (EX-L trim line) -- very nice car! The supplied MANFACTURER maintenance booklet does not list the MANUFACTURER-recommended time/mileage intervals for various services. However, there is a separate booklet with DEALER-recommended service intervals. I asked...

How to remove the lighter socket? by Dale Brisket
Can someone steer me onto a source of info on how to remove that part of the console of an '01 Accord that holds the lighter socket (accessory power socket)? Mine is so loose as to be useless, and I need it to be useful. Google has failed me in this, so I'm hoping for luck here. TIA.

2005 Civic SI (Cdn) by alyhirji
I just picked up a 2005 Civic SI Sedan (I previously had a 2003 Civic LX Sedan). I will be trying to install an after market MP3 Player in lieu of the factory CD that came with the car. In my 03 Civic, the dash panel that houses the Radio/HVAC controls was simple to remove, all one had to do...

Oddyssey antifreeze misshap by [email protected]
I absent-mindedly poured some antifreeze in my Oddyssey's windshield fluid container. Does it matter if I empty it out by pumping it out regularly? Or is there a drain on the bottom of the container I could use? Alternatively, can you use antifreeze as winshield fluid?

Muffler pipe ? ('97 Honda Civic DX) by Osei
Hello, on of the cars I own is a 1997 Honda Civic DX sedan. Last night, I'm driving across the bridge from Washington D.C. to Arlington, VA when I start hearing the loud sounds you start hearing when your muffler isn't working properly. I also heard something that was obviously scraping across...

replacing wheel bearing on 97 accord by [email protected]
My 97 accord with 140K miles has been experiencing noise that sounds like a louder version of snow tire rumble with a wobble harmonic (even though I have a brand new set of very quiet Goodyear Comfortrak tires). The Honda dealer found a worn wheel bearing and wanted almost $350 for the repair. I...

Warranty question by [email protected]
My 2004 Acura TL was recently smacked pretty good on the passenger side in a parking lot. I called my insurance company which referred me to a body shop for the repairs. I picked up the car last Friday but over the weekend noticed that the lock and window on the front passenger side door don't...

88 CRX alternator- not enough space??? by [email protected]
Hello All, Hey I got myself into a pickle this time. Sometimes I do routine maintenance on my 88 Honda CRX SI myself. And sometimes I like to fix minor stuff. (my downfall is my curiousity and willingness to pick up a wrench outweighs my education / knowledge level of the problem. ) Story goes...

2004 Pilot wind noise by Gordon[_2_]
I wonder if there is a TSB for this, or if anyone else has found a cure. The noise is especially bad in a cross wind. From the drivers seat it sounds like it is coming from the right side. Thanks

2004 Odyssey shuts off when stopped by mmhamilton
My wife's 2004 Honday Odyssey (6K miles) sometimes just shuts off when she comes to a stop. No lights on the dash or anything. It only happens once or twice per day. This started happening at around 5K miles. She also said it happened while she was moving slowly one time which is really...

Update, Regarding Idle Issues by Chopface
Hey, This is mostly for those that were following an earlier thread about my idle fluctuating in my 1991 Civic Si. I had said that the bleeding appeared to fix the problem and it did intially. However, I hadn't taken the car out for a good 100 mile hwy. cruise. The bleeding definitely helped, but...
