99 SW2 - Exhaust Leak in engine compartment? by
Peter A. Schott
Went in for an inspection and found that I have an exhaust leak. Person didn't
even bother trying to inspect me as he heard it outside of the car. Any ideas
on what this normally runs for repairs or is this one of those problems that
could come from a variety of areas?
Thanks.

99 sw2 backup light switch by
jamie duncan
Where is this switch located on the manual transmission, and is it a
relatively DIY-friendly repair?
I've checked (and replaced, just in case) the fuse, and checked the
bulbs. So either it's the switch, or the wiring itself. Right?
Thanks for any insight.

99 won't start by
sccrmom
I have had my 99 Sl for less than a month, two days ago it would crank but
not start, it's like it's not getting fire or gas. The carlot I bought it
from sent a salesman to my house by the time he got there I had it started,
the code said my O2 sensor was slow delay, so I had the sensor...

? Bicycle Rack for 2003 Vue ? by
Vue Don
I need to purchase a bicycle rack for my 2003 Vue. I would rather
have a rack that hangs off of the rear hatch than the dealer style that
would require me to lift the bikes above the roof of the Vue. Can
anyone recommend a hatch type bike rack for the Vue?
Thanks,
Don

? Part identification ? 98 SL by
Richard
What is that little cover called that goes over nut holding the wiper to its
motor on the outside of the car? I'm missing one for the driver's side and
want to locate one online.

?VTI Transmission Experiences in the Vue? by
Pinball Hobbyist
Has anyone purchased a Vue (4cyl) with the VTI transmission and
put some serious mileage on it? How does it drive and how does it
hold up? Curious,

A bad ground?? by
ricojd
Hi,
After reviewing several threads here I realize (and hope) that I am having
trouble with a bad ground. Here's what my 96 SL2 did, let me know if you
think I might be off base. The car has 200k miles on it and I'm not really
interested in throwing much more money at it.
I replaced the alternator...

A few problems by
agentchuckles
I have a few problems with my Saturn 2000 LS1.
First, my keyless entry does not work. It started dying a few months
ago. I had to push the buttons in harder and longer for it to work.
Now it doesnt work at all. I have two transmitters and both, even with
new batteries, do not work. How do I...

What is group's opinion about a kit to back-flush a cooling system
(cut a hose to the heater and install the adapter).
Any answers are much appreciated. Thank you.

A mostly fond farewell to Saturn (for now) by
[email protected]
Hi all. I am a semi-regular lurker and once-in-a-blue-moon poster here.
Nice group.
As of last week, alas, I am a Saturn ringer no more. I traded in my
weathered 2000 SL2 for a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Classic. Didn't really
want to, but the time had come.
I've driven two Saturns on a regular basis....

A parts reminder by
Louis Hom
I don't live near a dealer, so when my car died I had it towed to a local
garage that I know. Turned out that the car ('98 SL2) needed a new
ignition control module. Holy shmokes, the garage said the part would
cost $500. Well, a call to the Autozone down the block saved me $300.
The garage said...

A question about battery drain. by
Freewheeling
I was in a small fender-bender in the parking lot a few days ago, that
practically tore of the front fender. There was no fluid leakage,
however, so I drove it home after going through the accident report
formalities. (I have a 1998 SL2 4 door.) The next day I had a doctor's
appointment so...

A question of durability by
NewsGroupie
I have a 1994 SL2 with 119,000 Miles. My Penn State (PS) son is Main-Campus
bound Sep 2006 to finish the remaining two years. I live about 150 miles
away. Except for normal maintenance, the car runs fine. I anticipate his
driving to and from PS eight (8) times. Is it prudent to have him drive...

A Sad Farewell to Saturn by
marx404
It is with great remorse that I must say that after almost 3 years of
working for Saturn, I resigned yesterday. I am very heartbroken over the
decision but I felt that I had no choice.
I have been working for a major dealership in South FL until last month. I
had a great relationship with my...
