Another squeaky brake thread by
Tokay
I'm the proud owner of a 1993 SL2. I bought it used last year (I
prefer the pre-1995 Saturns), and it's just over 100K. Recently (a
week and a half ago), there's been a squeaky sound coming from my left
front wheel when I brake. It's *slightly* arrythmic. It also
sometimes occurs when I back...

Anti-Lock Brake question by
Oppie
Was driving in icy weather yesterday and had the first bad experience with
the ABS system. I have gotten so accustomed to just putting my foot on the
brake and having the ABS doing all the work when required. Thankfully there
were no other cars arround me as I tried to slow for a turn. I stepped...

Antifreeze leak by
oligoguy
Just replaced my water pump after it started blowing antifreeze all over
the belt (shouldn't have ignored that rattle coming from the pump). Of
course the belt helped put a nice even coating on that side of the engine
compartment. Now I don't think I've seen anybody address this issue, but
can...

antifreeze reserve cap by
Linda[_2_]
Several times over the summer my check engine light would come on my 94
SW2 with 80K on the motor & trans I would pull over first checking
trans fluid, then turn off the engine & check everything else including
opening the antifreeze cap checking the cap & level and then putting
the cap back on....

any known problems with 98 SW-2 by
Ron Herfurth
I'm considering a 1998 SW-2 wagon as a replacement for my 94 SL-1 with
104,000 miles which is using oil faster and faster. Is there anything I
should check out (recalls, common problems, etc) in that year and model
before plunking down the cash?

Any Saturn Vue / Dog owners? by
Phil Marshall[_1_]
Hi:
Proud owner of a new '06 Vue. Had it about two weeks now, and love it.
Just one thing that I'm hoping that some has a solution for. We have a
12 year old Lab dog. We want her to travel with us in the back seat area.
But I don't want to to try jumping up/down from the seat to the ground.
Too...

anyone ever lost shift linkage clip? by
chuck smoko
I had "fun" today. My manual transmission 94 SL1 saturn lost a
U clip that holds the shift linkage cable to the transmission.
After coming off the highway, I could not take it out of 5th.
I rolled for a bit and got it into 3rd and drove to a safe
place to pull over. I was alone; so I could not...

Anyone with expertise on a Lw200? by
Steph
Our LW-200 is starting to annoy us.
Seems like there is a terrible shortage of knowledgeable
mechanics that know anything about this car and it's manual
transmission.
Since just under 30,000 miles the clutch has acted up/weird on us.
Essentially it first showed up after driving about 90 miles on...

Are saturns notorious for burning oil? by
CuriousOnly
I have a '97 Saturn SL1, that I have not had any major problems with since I
purchased it. I have noticed, however, that if I do an oil change myself or
take it to a shop to do it, there always appears to be a bit less than what
I would normally expect to see. One tech said that Saturns are...
