Hey netmax, I notice you said you can feed oscars steak. Well I
recently made the mistake of buying beef patties for hamburgers. They
weren't very nice. Could I feed frozen chunks of the patty to my
oscar? Or is the fat content too high for him?

discus arnt that much harder to care for then oscars, just make sure
their water is good and they dont get stressed... boy howdy do they get
stressed lol.

yes & yes. Cut into mouth sized cubes and freeze remainder. Thaw portion
before feeding. As with all specialty foods, spread out their usage.

I accept absitively I like discus, but I don't anticipate I'll attempt discus until I retire - and I'm alone 25 now, so I've got a while to learn about them properly. I apprehend they are decidedly bad-tempered fish. And expensive. So I'll accumulate a few oscars in the meantime, again I might try discus.
