Clownfish growing cotton?

One thing is for sure though, anything that reduces stress will help fish heal up faster. And having an anemone to snuggle in can reduce stress. So indirectly the anemone could help, but directly, nobody knows of any evidence to such, but it's possible. Wayne Sallee My angel was getting some clouding on her eye. She would swim up next to one of our hermit crabs and let the crab eat the stuff off of her eye. She's fine now. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Jim |
Clownfish growing cotton?
Yes, I've seen that many times. In the store I had a
stupid fish that did not have any fins left because it kept going to a large hermit crab to be cleaned. I eventually moved the fish to another tank so that it could regrow it's fins. Cleaner shrimp are a lot better :-) Wayne Sallee jthread wrote on 11/17/2007 12:03 PM: "Wayne Sallee" wrote in message ... Have you ever heard of such a thing? Jim- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text Wayne, Funny that you should mention this. I actually went to the LFS yesterday to discuss various options and he also recommended a cleaner shrimp, which has been added to the tank now. It's been in around 18 hours or so and hasn't shown a great amount of interest in the clown just yet...but oddly, the clown seemed drawn to it like metal to a magnet...to the point where the shrimp has firmly planted himself in a crevice in the rock, and seems content to stay there for the moment :p The clown also does seem to be behaving perfectly OK...he's swimming in the same ares he always does, eating voraciously etc....so with any luck it'll just clear up on its own...hopefully. He seems to have found a place he likes hanging out, upside down, on the back of one of the rocks...should I be concerned, or just leave him be? Mitch |

Yea, they will live on just about any food, and they
will find it without any problems. Wayne Sallee George Patterson wrote on 11/18/2007 8:35 PM: Big Habeeb wrote: Is there something else I should be feeding this guy? They will thrive on brine shrimp or mysis shrimp. George Patterson Worry doesn't improve the future; it just ruins the present. |
