It's dificult to micromanage these things over the wire. But it's easier to fix that diagnose. Feed way less, change way more water. Algae cannot live in the presence of excel. Flourish Excel
Foster & Smith = 2L is $17.99 on sale. Regular price is $18.99. You can't
have it shipped to Ca? Nah. UPS or fedex charges $17 to broker it. USPS charged nothing, but lemme guess, they don't do USPS because they don't pick up. I could have it shipped to a friend just across the border (I live close) but the fuel it takes to get there is more than $17. I just pick some up when I'm in Toronto and don't sweat it. -- Need Mercedes parts ? - http://parts.mbz.org Richard Sexton | Mercedes stuff: http://mbz.org 1970 280SE, 72 280SE | Home page: http://rs79.vrx.net 633CSi 250SE/C 300SD | http://aquaria.net http://killi.net |

Exactly. Salifert is about as high a quality test kit as is needed by 99.95% of anyone in this hobby.......but then again there are folks that think just because it costs more momey it has to be better...... And I am not too sure Salifert is all that much more of a better kit anyway, as Seatest and Fastest kits are super and very reasonable to buy. I have been fooliing with fish over 35 years and have yet to loose any due to a test kit being so inferior, so that a high dollar LaMotte etc would not have made any difference. On the contrary I think only a select few whose set ups are so delicate (and expensive) could warrant spending the money on a Hach or LaMotte kit. For anything other than nitrates, sure. But check the APD archives to see at best, and I mean at very best, hobby NO3 kits are only good for "low", "medium", "high" readings and I've seen them flat out fail, that is read zero when there is considerable No3. -- Need Mercedes parts ? - http://parts.mbz.org Richard Sexton | Mercedes stuff: http://mbz.org 1970 280SE, 72 280SE | Home page: http://rs79.vrx.net 633CSi 250SE/C 300SD | http://aquaria.net http://killi.net |
