Green Brittle Star w/ chomped legs
All 5 legs on my brittle star are broken off and he's now laying on the bottom of the tank in a heap. I may have moved some rocks during a recent water change, but all 5 legs? At roughly same length? I added 6 emerald crabs, a lawnmower blenny, and 20 snails recently. Could the emerald crabs to this? Any ideas? --Kurt |

I haven't seen them on the rocks at all. They've been on the plenum and reaching up for algae. (I have another tank when they are done with this one.) Not that I really mind a dead brittle star. He's getting to a dangerous size and I still have an unexplained disappearance of two yellow tails. It's just some unexplained drama. --Kurt |

You may have caused a problem with the last water
change, yes the emerald crab could have done it, what else do you have in your tank?. There could be something else in your tank that could do it too. Well thats your opinion Kurt and your entitled to it, however you do
what yo feel yu must and thats what I do as well....I am not afraid of any ramifications that follow for what I do unlike some like Wayne and Pszemol, who take the shudder and hope this crap goes away stance.....**** Carol Gulley and the sock puppet she rode in on, and the same to any of her supporters and enablers as well............Carol Gulley is the problem here and in other groups not me......Its spineless folks like most in this place that allows trolls like Carol Gulley to run amook in their groups then jump ship like a drowning rat would do.
