Silver Angels with Eggs! Help
If your going to move them take the filter inlet tube, with the eggs on and
simply replace the tube with a new one. You could do a 50% water change and use that water in the new take with the eggs, and also move Mum and Dad. Fix the filter tube , so it remains up right but leave the floor of the tank bare. bassett "Sam" wrote in message ... I got home from work today, and I found a couple hundred tannish eggs on pump inlet tube, and my two angelfish actively gaurding the area. Since I have a community tank of 23 fish, should I move the eggs out and into a new tank. Also should I move the parents with them. I have did some research on the web, and I found many opinions. Whay should I do? I do know at this time that the eggs are not white, so they still may be viable. Also how do I get them off my filter inlet tube without destroying them? With so many fish in my tank, I am worried that they may not have a chance, once my Gourmai, Clown Loaches, and Zebra Danios get wind of what is going on. I need any help I can get from you guys. Silver Angels with Eggs! Help
Thanks I had left them alone in the Main Tank, and by this morning all of
them had either been sucked up the tube or turned white. SO perhaps I have two females, or if there is a male he needs more coaching. Oh well, at least I have a 5 gallon kiddie tank to play with now. What should I put in it. My 50 gallon tank holds the following, with their purchase dates listed as well. Everytime I got a male live bearer of any kind to go with these guys he would die in two or three weeks. My planted tank conditions are totally great, no ammonia, no nitrites, and low nitrates, and just perfect PH. SO I was thinking of trying to raise some fry, but I would think live bearers would have a better chance. Or the wife and I thought about trying 2 very young and small dwarf african cichlids we saw at the LFS 2 days ago. Any body got any new ideas? 2 Glass Catfish (Large, -P 1/24/04) (Small, -P 2/5/2004) 1 Glass Fish -P 1/24/04 1 Rainbow Shark -p 1/31/04 1 Flame Dwarf Gourami -p 1/24/04 1 Golden Gourami -p 1/24/04 2 Clown Loaches -p 1/24/04 2 Dalmation Mollies (1 female -p 1/24/04) (1 female, -p 2/7/2004) 2 Silver Angelfish -p 1/24/04 2 Red Velvet Swordtails (1 female; -p1/24/04) (1 female -p1/31/04) 4 Long-finned Zebra Danios -p 1/31/04 1 Plecostomus catfish -p 2/29/04 2 Sunset fin Wag Tail Molys (2 female; 7/7/04) -- This message was written on 100% recycled spam.
