Goldfish are so Hardy!
We have a small plant pond attached to the side of our fish pond, the water
is quite separate. My wife from time to time transfers a floating weed type plant (like duckweed) from the fish pond to the other one. She was cleaning out the plant pond, full of mud and very smelly, and to her amazement found four small fish, two about 1" body length and two about half that size. I guess she must have transferred some eggs at some stage, possibly twice, seeing there are two different size fish. How can sensitive fry live and grow in such a "wrong" environment? They have now happily joined their relatives in the big pond :-) Ken Russell Remove hat to reply --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
