Fishkeeping - New pump suggestions? Low GPH....

Put whatever pump you decided on (I'd look at a 700 gph mag-drive,
www.thatpetplace.com) inside a mesh basket. Example on my webpage
www.jjspond.us click on *My Pond Photos* and go to Page 7, scroll down to
bottom right.

Pictured are 2 mesh baskets zip corded together, or you can use one basket
and window screening tied to top. Do not leave the foam pre-filter on pump
or add anything in the baskets, only fine particles will come thru the
baskets, and you'll be clog free. Large surface area keeps the big stuff
out of the pump until in breaks down to little stuff. Not efficient at
pulling muck off the bottom, but in a 300 gallon pond, a shop vac can do
