Silly Cowbirds
 

I was looking out at the pond today and a flock of Cowbirds was sitting on
the edge eyeing the water. One by one they tried to land on the Water
Hyacinths. They had varying degrees of success before the WH would flip over
on them. This explains why I found a WH on its back a few days ago. Also
explains the dead bird I found in the pond a few weeks back.
