Protein Skimmer choice
 

i'm setting up my first reef aquarium, it's a 55 gallon All-Glass and I will
be doing a reef tank with fish, i have purchased the sump, lights and have
everything bought except my protein skimmer

i have narrowed it down to two, the two are the ASM G1X or the Aqua Medic
Turboflotor T1000

can anyone help me decide which of the two would be better

Protein Skimmer choice
 

The ASM is a better skimmer, but for a 55 gallon tank the T1000 would be
a great skimmer. I would say it comes down to how much money you want
to spend. Me I think I would go with the T1000 and put the extra money
into the better water movement.
