I realize this is way OT but it is important for some of us.

DeLenn was home from school sick and we were watching the "Today Show"
We watched in horror as it all unfolded. I watched the news for the
rest of the day for the most part. I had to go out for a little while
and the radio stations were playing the same news program as was seen on
NBC.

I remember crying a lot and talking to my mom off and on. The plane hit
the pentagon at the exact spot where my moms office was. Luckily she
had retired and was no longer there.

I was on my way to work when the first words that came out of the radio was
that a second plane had hit the World Trade Center. The rest of the day was
simply awestruck disbelief as I continued to keep an ear to the news.

To those who have lost loved ones this fateful day, three years ago:
I have not forgotten. And I will always remember.

To those who proudly serve our country protecting our freedoms:
I have not forgotten the price you pay to protect me and my loved ones.
Please take comfort in knowing that I will not take for granted the
sacrifices you make to provide us the rights and freedoms we have.

I know a guy from Pakistan and we were talking a year or so after 9/11
happened. He talked about how America sticks its big nose in everybody's
business. As my blood pressure began to zoom and I started to entertain
thoughts of strangulation, he continued on about the news footage you often
see in Pakistan of a street packed full of people chanting "Death to
America!" and burning flags. He said that if you offer a visa to any one of
the people in the crowd to come to America, they would jump at the chance.
Interesting world we live in.

It's now day five, and the male is till looking after the eggs. After being
on a mental roller coaster as to wether there was any eggs at all for 3
days, I'm now on the same rollercoaster wondering if the eggs are fertile or
not.

It's all very exciting, and I can't believe this is happening in my tank,
even though I have tried make it happen for over a year now! :)

I have rearranged the tank a few times during the time I tried making
everything right for the Zebras, slate, coconuts, tubes, vases what not. I
have no idea how to put this forth in a way that might seem plausible, but 3
days after I got a home made cave from a fellow aquarist, the spawn was
done. He told me he'd seen this happen several times before. Must be
soemthing about the material used and of course the measurments. Anyways,
worked perfect for my Zebras .. :)
