I have 44gal salt reef tank and looking to get a sterilizer, does anyone
have any suggestion..

IMO UV on a reef tank is counter-productive. Kills things you want.

Yes, do not get one. If you do insist, place it inline with your RO/DI unit.

you can get RO/DI units with UV built in .. not that much more
than RO/DI alone.. in fact less than a seperate UV
