Fishless Cycling with Ammonium Hydroxide

I'm going to be cycling a 14 gallon aquarium with a cleaning product I
found in the UK called Max Ammonia by Challs (www.challs.com).

I have got them to fax me their safety data sheet. This product contains
9.5% ammonium hydroxide and the rest is water. The risks are R34 (causes
burns) and R50 (very toxic to aquatic organisms). pH is 11.6.

Ecological Information:
LC50 96 Hrs Fish 8.2 mg/kg
EC50 48 Hrs Daphnia 0.66 mg/L
IC50 72 Algae 420 mg/L

Let's see if this does the job!

Nikki
