BTA spawning???
they do sexually multiply, i dont know of any actually breeding them that way in any tank,
i gave my bta away bout 2 months ago, but it had done what you have recorded on that site maybee 3 times over a year. if it was trying to sexually multiply your corals got a meal, and your waterquality probibly didnt change all that much, did you by any chance record any water quality numbers??? anyways whatever it was NICE pics :) -- richard reynolds Marc Levenson wrote in message ... BTA spawning???
hard to tell Marc. When mine split it closed up several times in the days
before it split, then it open up completely and litterally ripped itself in 2. its foot moved until the 2 pieces were several inches apart. doesnt look like yours is moving but who knows nature cen be funny like that. BTA spawning???
I had a beaded anemone do that to me once. Turned the whole 50 gal tank into
skim milk. This happened as I was already late leaving for work so I just made sure the skimmer collection cup was empty, mixed up a batch of water, crossed my fingers and left it. By the time I came back at lunchtime everything looked back to normal. I did a water change and everything was fine. The consensus at the time was it was spawn/sperm/gamets AKA: coral food! Cool Pics! I wish I'd had a camera at the time Lance "Marc Levenson" wrote in message ...
