Treatment of Ichty

I heard that Ichty may be treated with 1 mg/l of potassium permanganate
and I would like to try this as a last resource. However, I am afraid to
damage some crabs and shrimps that are still alive. Also, I do not know
how my caulerpa will behave under these conditions.

Is there anybody with experience in this type of treatment?

I am currently treatin g Ich with a Hypo saline tank. If you are SURE your
fish have Ich, move them to a quaratine tank. set the salinity of the tank
at just under 16 PPT. You will needa meter to do this.
