Nano Reefs?

Hi

In a random act of shopping I purchassed a ViaAqua AR 380 Aquarium
(http://www.commodityaxis.com/ProductData.aspx?id=10)
The original intention was to keep it very simple and throw a few gold
fish in there. I then stumbled across the word 'nano-reef' and this
got me wondering.

Could I use this small 10 gallon tank as the basis for a nano reef? I
guess I would need to purchase some additional equipment but thats not
too much of an issue. Has anyone else set up a nano reef and if so
what sort of luck did they have?

I have kept fish in the past (mainly freshwater) so I am not a total
novice but when it comes to nano marine tanks I am in unchartered
waters!

Any help or advice much appreciated.

Regards

Yes, you can. But it wont be simple anymore.

I guess I would need to purchase some additional equipment but thats

Right. Money is not an object here. The bigger issue is lack of skills.
10g nano-reef is too big of a challenge for a marine aquarist novice.
Start from a bigger tank, 40-70 gallons, it is more stable and easier
to take care of. I would say 10g nano-reef is for experts only.

Believe it or not, there is a website called
http://www.nano-reef.com/

And just for your own edification, read this brief overview:

Hope that helps.
