Pairing Jack Dempsey

I have 4 very large JD in an attempt to get a pair to breed but not successfull as yet. 3 of the 4 turned out to be males so i only have one female and none have seemed to pair. I have an 80 gal which 2 of them I have had for about 2 years hence the size and they all have been together for 6 months now. Need help to try and get a pair the 2 larger ones are about 8" and the female is roughly 5" and the smallest male is 5" or 6". Should i put the smaller ones in a smaller tank alone to force it or do i have to start over with a bunch of little ones any thoughts muchly appreciated.

Jeremy
