Adding NewFish to the big Tank

As you may recall, we became the new family of a very lucky carnival feeder
fish. We already have OldFish, also a lucky carnival feeder, in a 29 g.

NewFish has been in Quarantine for about a month now - doing swimmingly, I
might add.

Thoughts on making them roommates? OldFIsh is about 5-6" long (15 cm).
NewFish is 1" (3 sm).

Young Son is worried that OldFIsh will eat NewFish, but I don't think his
mouth will open that wide. I'd hate to be wrong about that though. :)

Will OldFish let NewFish get any food during feeding time?

Maybe install a temporary tank divider? I saw one of those devices at the LFS, and the picture on the box had a big fish looking
menacingly at some little fish across the divider, I think.

I'm thinking of getting one to separate my Oranda from my Fantails during feeding time.

Well, I think si. There are two tetras in the tank, and everybody eats.

I don't think the tank would be big enough for OldFish if I cut his swim
zone in half.
