Dreaded Brown Algae

I have a 75 gal tank that is established for 2 years. I recently added more
Live rock (25lbs) to bring it up to 75 lbs. Since then I am again battling
the dreaded Brown algae. I did a partial water change yesterday, and today I
have traces of the Brown menace already in my DSB. Is there anything I can
do to combat it or is this just like starting over with a new tank?

When is the last time you changed your lights, and how long are they on a
day?Lights should be changed every 6 to 9 months and it does make a big
difference.
