Fot that 100g Rubbermaid in the Garage!

Hello group,

A while back I posted about adding on a second sump and asked who had done
it.

I finally came up with a design and got busy drilling holes in the house for
1" pvc.
I drilled a new bulkhead in my current sump to feed the stock tank in the
garage.
The stock tank is 100 gallon and is situated right underneath my RO/DI,
Calcium reactor and Freshwater topoff tank.

Due to the low drop from the sump under my tank to the new one in the garage
I had to slow down my Iwaki 20 by returning some discharge water from it
back to the 100 gal sump but I'm still pumping about 200 gal per hour to the
main system.

So happy! It rocks!

Next plan is to cover it with some acrylic and put some NO lights on there.
I also put a bulkhead fitting on the stock tank about 30 gallons from the
top of the tank for draining / water changes.
Boy is that going to make things easier.

Total cost: Under $ 100.

Thanks for the replies to my previous post " Anyone running two sumps? "

Thanks Marc,

Yes I intend to get some pictures.

I want to make a growout tank ( my first try at making an acrylic tank ) and
then take some pics.
Thanks for the link to Regal Plastics. I will check them out.

Dave.
