Community Fish Question
I have read that several fish do better in groups, six or more. Does that
mean for instance 6 tetras, three of one type of tetra and three of another? Or does it mean 6 of the same type of tetra? I have three platies, one Mickey Mouse, one long finned and one gold wag and they seem to school together just fine? Thanks for you help. Todd "Aquarium Newbie" |

Todd "Aquarium Newbie" Shoaling fish do better in a group of the same species, not in a mix. Your platies are hanging out together because they're all the same species despite their different coloration. -- __ Elaine T __ __' http://eethomp.com/fish.html '__ rec.aquaria.* FAQ http://faq.thekrib.com |
