Greek Goddess Nudibranch...
"Mort" wrote in message . com... Anybody familiar with the Greek Goddess Nudibranch seen here? Yes, have had quite a few over the years. Is it just another organism to help with algae control? Is there anything bad about them? if your going for algae control the greek goddess isnt you best choice, the "lettus slug" (which nudibranch is just a fancy word for a slug) is a better choice here. They are reef compatible right? well that is a Yes/No, they do great in a reef tank, with the exception (and this is just IME) they eat anemones, this is how they get the stingers into their own tail crown. they LOVE overflows its almost impossiable to keep them out of them as they will constantly crawl into them as well as the intake of power heads. i guess they like the "sucking" flow of water as opposed to direct out of a pump. kc |

This is the reason I have lost 2 lettuce nudis. The strainer on the pup intake did not help at all, it squeezed in anyway. I will never buy another nudi/slug to a tank with powerheads. |

Only to clarify, these are not nudibranchs, but Sap-Slugs, which are Sacoglossians, not nudibranchs :D Sacogs' eat algae and all but two species of Nukes eat other animals -- Boomer Want to talk chemistry ?
