Emersed, is that why my anubias grew so much?
 

I was thinking, maybe this is why my anubias grew so much. The
water evaporates and I neglect it so it drops down a couple
inches and the leaves at the top are no longer under water and
the plant is emersed and grows more and shoots leaves out the
narrow opening at the back and also through those round holes
at the corners.
