My first dead fish
Well I guess it had to happen one day.
I had my first dead fish in over seven years today. Out of the original 12 feeder goldfish I bought over seven years ago, one died the second day. There have been no more until today... The pond is loaded with plants as is the veggie filter. The water is crystal clear all the way to the bottom, four feet deep. I also tested the water and it's right where it's supposed to be. Maybe it was just it's time... Ron in NC |

Too bad. Good age, tho. That is a typical lifespan, as I understand
it. Our originals are now in the 8 yr bracket. jim Ron in Radio Heaven wrote: Well I guess it had to happen one day. I had my first dead fish in over seven years today.
