Dwarf Gourami building Bubble Nest

Just thought I'd share this - we have had Gourami's for over a year now and
I've never seen this happen.

In the Community tank the male Blue 3 spot "Boss of the tank" is more busy
making sure everyone is under control than to bother with his two girlie
friends....

In Matt's 30 gall tank the Pearl Gouramis seem to quite like eachother but
no action...

Thursday, in yet another attempt to set up the 15gall Community tank, I
bought 2 Powder Blue Dwarf Gouramis (one male/one female). Still monitoring
the water quality (nitrites currently 0.3 so seeded again)....then I notice
that the male is busy shredding some of the plants. A bit later I notice he
is taking the leaves off into a corner and blowing bubbles into his
construction....it is now around 5cm across....I had been wondering what
fish to add into the tank in a couple of weeks time (still researching while
waiting for nitrites to go to 0) but it looks like the Dwarf Gouramis have
ideas of their own on stocking the tank :-)
