Protien Skimmer-HomeMade?

im curious if i can make a better skimmer than my current. well i know i
can, but i would like it to function as good as the remora. anybody have
any good home plans to make a good powerhead driven skimmer that i can make,
prefer self standing bacause i dont think i have room in my current sump for
a good one. Constructiong would be no problem for myself, so that is not a
concern, money is however, thats the reason i am looking for an alternative
to the remora.

DIY Beckett.
I built mine for $11.99 & it kicks the Remora Pros Ass!!! That's why I sold
the Remora Pro.
Don't use a powerhead use a beckett injector, then buy yourself a
1200gph pressure rated pump to drive it. If you get a deal or a used pump
Your total cost can be under $100. My skimmer is based on the PM Bullett but
uses a square mixing box instead of the acrylic tubing.
