Identity help "What the heck is it"

My Tank has been up for about 9 weeks now and everything seems to be doing
great though we only have one domino damsel, with about 80 pounds of live
rock. Well today when me and the wife got home from work we always check on
the new adittion to the family and we noticed these little white specs
attached to the class it looks like shell pieces of some sort. It is all
white and some are very small some are larger but most you still have to get
very close to the tank to see them. They look as if they are curled up or
something but not moving is this some sort of worm, I also have 40 pounds of
live sand in the tank.

Any help on what this is and if it is something I should really be worried
about would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds like spirorbid worms, and they are very common. I have them on the
back wall of my tanks, and they love the sump and overflow areas. Filter
feeders - reef safe.

Scrape them off where you don't need them, so your vision isn't obscured.

Yep, those are the ones. I hope that is a picture of them on dry land, or that
they pulled the penny back out of the tank! :)
