why dont they call them poopcostomus

i have a pl*co about 12" long he just **** about 2 hours ago. i'd say
it was a 6" string turd and just laid another, the same length just
now. i'm just making sure this is normal, i only feed him algae pellets
every few days, so the rest of the time he scrounging for food at the
bottom.
