How to start hard to start powerheads/pumps....

Use a powerful permanent magnet (like 1 half of a large mag-float
magnet algae scraper) by pressing it against the back of the
powerhead or pump while power is applied. This should start any
powerhead or pump but you might have to experiment a tad as to where
to apply the magnet to the powerhead/pump (the experimenting is a one
time only event requirement). This method should easily start any
difficult to start powerheads/pumps, and if you use a mag-float to do
it you can easily start the powerhead/pump underwater. I just thought
I would share another one of my discoveries. Good luck all and
later!
