I saw one just like that one at the LFS, and I agree about the color. However,
what you really want to know is what it will eat in your tank, or what you have to provide to keep it alive. well,from what I've read,it seems they are filter feeders...I would think
they could be fed a liquid food (i.e.:kents micro-vert or equivalent).but I seem to recall someone,perhaps on here,talking bout the difficulty of caring for them.are they the same "thing" as sea apples?they seem to look very similar "Marc Levenson" wrote in message ... IME they (the one in the pic) will eat algae off the glass. they are a PITA
to keep out of overflows. for some reason they like the rushing water and are attracted to the overflows. i always liked the Greek Goddess and other then the overflows never had a problem with them. they are known to eat anemones in order to 'move' the stinging cells of the anemone into their own crown for a stinging protection for themselves. kc |
