Looking for private supplier of fish / inverts Long Island NY.

Quite a number of years ago I cam across an aquariest who was running an import
business from his home. He sold livestock privately at a terrific savings when
compared to the LFS. As I have lost contact with him, does anyone have
knowledge of any one doing this currently in NY(long Island). I am looking to
set up a new tank and would be interested in such info.

I don't know the guy you're asking about but where on LI are you (I'm
in Ronkonkoma)?
