Mystery crab

Anyone ever had a problem with small brown/grey crab with very short
claws and red eyes? Came in as hitchhiker, no problems yet. It must be
doing ok for itself as it has just finished moulting, (I found the empty
shell, so I assume that is what happened.) I did find a body of some kind of
crab-like thing, but it may have just been the husk from a red hermit
crab's moult, if they even do that, I'm not sure. when I waved water at it
basically disintegrated and disappeared, it looked nothing like the mystery
crab.

There are thousands of species, but crabs are usually not good. Keep an eye
on it if you can't identify it as something benign.
