acrylic tanks: warping?

just wondering whether any of you have acrylic tanks and have found any
warping?

i bought a 55 gallon tank a few months back. i hadn't noticed until
recently, but the front side of the tank is bulging out a little. it's
a little disturbing. is it normal?

i'm sure i'm covered by warranty, but i thought i'd ask just the same.

thanks.

All tanks will bulge even glass tanks. The tanks thickness should be
sufficieint to withstand whatever bulge there is. Is there a top brace
perhaps, if so is it broke loose? I have a 210 gal glass and it bows
considerably, as well as my 60 gal glass....

Acrylic will bow much more than glass. Most acrylic tanks, at least large
ones, will have a slight bow. Even with the cener top brace. Mine is
custom ordered and I specifically asked for a thicker acrylic to reduce the
bow.
