Zeolite by Korrallin
What's the opinion of the group on this method of reefing.
There are a few Aussies doing the zeolite thing now and it appears to be going well for them so far. I used PO4- a few years ago by these guys and I'd imagine that the nitrogen reducing side is similar with the nutrients being bound to the product for easier removal. I wouldn;t say it was a long term thing for me nut I used about half a bottle. I ended up making myself a big skimmer and until I did this I didn't see any real results. I had a smaller venturi skimmer before, but it didn;t seem powerfull enough to get any results from the PO4-. Anyway I just wanted to ask what info others had on this method of reefing. From my experience with their products I can;t say the results were conclusive. The skimmer was responsible for the drastic improvement in water conditions IMO and the PO4- was of little help if any at all. Comments, opinions, links etc greatly appreciated. Simon |
