Kent Nautlius TE Skimmer Problem
Hi:
Just purchased a new Kent Nautilus TE in sump skimmer and am using the Rio 2100 pump Kent recommends. I can not get the unit to generate real fine bubbles. The bubbles in the skimmer are approximately 1/4" in diameter, thus it is ineffective. Does anyone have that skimmer which works well or one with a similar problem. Have a message into Kent but no response. Would like to get working right this weekend. Thanks in advance for your input. Wayne |

Yes, I am testing in fresh water, prior to modifying my sump. I am letting
it run for the breakin period and it has about 2 hour of continous operation. Wayne "Richard Reynolds" wrote in message news:0axyc.29302$1c4.26601@fed1read06... are you testing it in fresh water ??? Many skimmers have a period of up to a week before they settle in and start skimming effectively. Couple that fact with the fresh water, and this could very well duplicate what you're seeing. Set it up in sal****er, and forget it exists for a few days. hth billy -- Need tech help from fun, friendly people? http://www.winextra.com news://news.winextra.com --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
