Problem With Gravel Vacuming

When I vacuum my gravel for years I would get a fine brown material,
for the past couple of months I am getting large pieces of white
cottony like material and a lot of it..blobby like....It is clogging
my filters and power heads...What would cause this and what is it?

Sounds like you're overfeeding, and the white material is partially rotten
fish food. Just a thought.
