Quarantine Tank

Hi All,

I've set up a quarantine tank (6g eclipse) and was wondering other than
quarantining the fish for 3 weeks, is there anything special I should be
doing with this tank? (I'm checking the fish for visual problems.)

Also, is 3 weeks enough time for quarantining?

Thanks,
Ben

Coloration and activity levels, appetite and constitution. Three weeks
sound fine. Check for your usual water parameters (ie: NH3/4 spike in
the 1st week etc).

Personally, I'd go 4 weeks.
However, you need to understand that some things may not show up in that amount
of time. Fish TB is my main example.
A fish can be a carrier and appear to be healthy...make it out of a month of
quarantine, look perfect and act perfect in every way...then end up infecting
an entire tank.
Just be aware that just because they made it out of quarantine, it is possible
for them to be carrying something that cannot be seen until later on.
