PC Ballast question
 

I have used PC fixture I was given. The brand name is "Top". It came with 2
55w lamps. The fixture is pretty beatup, but works fine. I am thinking of
taking it apart and mounting the innards in a new housing. I am also
wondering if this fixture can run 65w lamps. If I plug a 65 into this
ballast, and it only runs 55, will it simply run the 65 at 55 watts? Or
will the house explode?

PC Ballast question
 

It may light the bulb but it may not burn at the proper
spectrum.......but it surely is not going to hurt anything.
