Powerhead screen
 

Any of you had livestock sucked into your powerhead? I've read about it a
bit and am looking to be proactive.

Any ideas on what I could buy or make to surround the powerhead to prevent
accidents? I have a small Rio800 btw.

I have not had issues with these powerhead sucking in livestock. Keep
the gaurd on and some filter media between the gaurd and the pump
intake, you shouldnt have a problem.
