Sucker fish too aggressive
I have a 20 gal tank with 3 tetras and a sucker fish. It is gold, but don't
know the name, I think Chinese sucker fish. There are also some snails in the tank. I bought the sucker fish and it was fine for a month. Now, however, the sucker fish is constantly attacking the other fish. What is the problem? Is there anything I can do? |

Depending on the Variety of your pl*co, it may grow too big and put too
much of a strain on your tanks bacteria. Also, Pl*cos can get pretty aggressive. |

search google for 'CAE'
or chinese algae eater the problem with these fish seems to be the way they change their diet from algae to things higher in protien as they grow. loves a good snack of fish slime. They can also get very very 'chasey' or territorial. I keep some in with Malawi mbuna like Mel. Auratus as they actaully breakup fights between these battle tank fish!!! So a coupla things you can do. 1)add more chinese sucker fish (although in that 20gal maybe not the best idea) so you have them attacking each other 2) get rid of the bloody thing..... they work well in aggro tanks 3) try get more food into them I would try get rid of it and get a 'saimese flying fox' if you like that sort of fish shape or a bristlenose catfish if you like the algae eating habits. either way google will give ya lots of info on them as they are a very common fish and a very common problem! :-) "Taylor" wrote in message ...
