Trying to identify

Hello,
I am re-setting up a 180g tank. I put new substrate and put the live
rock I had back in it. It has been running for 2 months with one fish (Big
Eye) and 24 hermits, 24 snails. I am seeing white fuzzy blobs growing on 4
pieces of live rock. I am not sure if these are sponges or what. I have
tried to take photos and just see the flash.
How can identify these things?

Switch off the flash. Get your lighting right. Take the photo and post
them.

Then we might be able to help.

"white fuzzy blobs growing on 4
pieces of live rock" is not much to go on...

Yea, never use flash on an aquarium :-)

That's easy, it's sponge :-)
