Another question on my sick betta (recovering)

Awhile back I posted about my sick betta who didn't look so good.
Well I treated him with kanamycin every three days when I change his
water. He looks a lot better now and he's even been eating. I think he
had some fin rot and who knows what else.

Anyway one of the pectoral fins on him is broken. I'm guessing fin rot
split it in half or so. I'm wondering if it will ever heal cause he
flaps it around so much to get around. He gets around alright but I'm
sure it takes a lot more work now that that fin is broken.

Well thanks for any help.

I am glad to hear your betta is recoving after your treatment with
Kanamyacin.
I have seen fins heal almost completely, but sometimes the fins just do
not heal. But either way it sounds like your betta is going to do well.

Good luck, Carl

Fins tend to heal pretty quickly. You can help it along by monitoring
his water parameters and keeping his water clean and free of toxins.
