Well now that would be just what that troll wants to happen rock. I do
not think thats gonna happen. I am free as you are to post in any
other group. I did not fdrag those trolls here, but your post
certainly has managed to feed them a good meal so odds are now that
they know your getting disturbed they will never leave and this forum
will soon be infected like Rec.ponds is. However have you even taken
the initiative to send abuse reports to motzarella on the latest troll
andrea.....probably not. Its one and the same its not like there is
dozens of them jerks out there its one or two foks that change user
id's and news servers like most foks change their underwear. I would
suggest yu takke up your issues with carol Gulley or Ed Alston or
Larry Balnchard..as they are the infamous trolls out there creating a
ruckus in the various groups.
My changing my name would be giving in to their needs and would serve
nothing except perhaps 5 minuter so idol time until they seen a new
user id....Ignore them, they thrive onthe attention expecially the
attention whore Zebulon (Andrea Nogales) aka Carol Gulley.

Now Rock can yu explaian to me what or how I attracted the said trolls
to this forum.....care to point something out in particular that I
did...No, you can't plain and simple no one did, its the way those
three individuals are. Now you see why rec.poinds wants a moderated
group......all because of Carol and her socks.

I think trolls are just a fact of life on usenet. It's just like spam
and best ignored.

I think the worst thing you can do is give into their demands. It's no
different then a bully in the school yard or anybody else that has
discovered that aggression has benefits. If you don't stand up to them,
they just grow increasingly worse.

If this is the "TheRock" and not the troll him/herself, then I'd say you
just encouraged him/her to continue.

Hands up here....it might have been me that rekindled their interest in
the reef group and not Tristan.....had a bit of a mad moment a few days
ago on the pond group and suggested that I had had a lot of help and
good advice from Tristan on a "reef group" - didn't name any specific
group but I guess it didn't take a lot to work it out - so very big
apologies here to everyone....no point in Tristan nym shifting as
everyone can easily recognise his style....far better to rise above it
and treat these people with the contempt they deserve - ie. ignore them....

The best policy is to end this topic here and now and ignore whoever it
is that is trying to disrupt this group......and certainly not let it go
the way of rec.ponds by getting involved in recriminations.....if they
can't shake the group (or Tristan) then they will go away....

Naw, Carol is just carol and does best what carol does and that is
trol and disrupt groups. If what you posted pi$$ ed her off so bad to
start to troll yet another group I certainly would not feel bad about
it. She is just the 66 year od child that she is and has no friends
that amount to much anyhow. Best is not even reply or mention her
name. Soon she wil be gone when rec.ponds gets moderated......she
will be like a tumble weed and blow away.

Kill filters peopple kill filters, or just ignore! Ignore is perhaps
the most effective way.......as its a response from anyone that their
really after. And of course send in those abuse reports. They would do
it to you in a heart beat.

I'm simply suggesting that she stops arguing over in rec.ponds.

Tristan, do what you want but your ranting are bringing the nut bags here.
I'll take you at your word that this troll is a nut case, but continuing to
argue with them isn't making anything better here.
