Pods

Everyday I check my fug waiting for the promised population explosion of
pods, but no such luck. If anything, the numbers seem to be dwindling
which I'd expect as the ones that I bought will lay eggs and die.

How long does it take for new pods to hatch?

I have a very slow flow through of maybe 10 gallons an hour which is the
rough capacity of the fug. I used a filter to avoid having any pods get
sucked into the overflow. I have some Macro Algae and some shell rubble
in the fug. I have a 5200K flood light on it 10 hours a day. Am I
missing anything?

Start dosing some DTs Phytoplankton in your fuge and after awhile you will
see a good increase in them. Also check the fuge and tank at night with a
flashlight after the lights go out. You will be surprised at all the
critters like pods and etc that come out more at night. My tank and fuge look
like a zoo gone wild after lights out. Just an idea.....
