I have two African Dwarf Frogs in a 30 gallon long tank with small tropical fish, lots of plants & driftwood. I found these two links helpful: http://allaboutfrogs.org/info/mypets/dwarfs.html http://www.fishpondinfo.com/frog4.htm I feed my fish+frogs frozen brine shrimp alternating with frozen bloodworms (both thawed before serving) several times per week. The rest of the time they get the usual sinking pellets (for the Corys etc.) and fine pellets (for surface feeders). I also give the frogs HBH Frog & Tadpole Bites once or twice a week. I've had them for several years and they're doing fine. Gail F. |

ADFs frequently shed their skin- may be nothing to worry about. HTH kietz |
African Dwarf Frog.....
My Frog died... I found him belly up on the bottom this morning, and
thought he was ok, but my female sword was nipping at him and he wouldn't move, so I grabbed my net and moved him, he was stiff as they come.. Question is do you think he was attacked, or maybe my borderline Nitrite/Nitrate levels killed him? |

They're having a sale recently at a dollar a frog, and MANY came in with bloat. Several stores in my area have many die on them before being sold, many returned dead, and it doesn't seem to stopping. Bloat is a common disease for these cuties. |

I got it at PetCo, but maybe they use the same suppliers?... How could I tell if it died of Bloat??.. |
