How 'bout I call you a cab?

Hi ive known this girl since i was like 4 and we went 2 primary
together but then went to different high schools. Were both 16 now and
just finishing GCSE's. Ive like her for a long time and were really
good friends. TThe problem is i don't know how to ask her out, were
goinng to watch a concert in september together and theres other
things like going into manchester etc on a sturday but if i ask her
out and she says no then i feel that id lose her, which is not what i
want
