Marine Betta
Awesome--
I stumbled upon a beautiful U.S. Quarter sized marine betta Juvenile at the LFS. Its in my tank now less than 48 hours and is still a bit of a skulker. Do they ever come out of the Rock for extended periods? Please give your success or failure stories with this unique fish, thanks-------- |

It's funny that one mail order site said that it will beg for food, but then it seems to be a fussy eater as well. Heard to say. http://www.marineaquariumadvice.com/...altivelis.html http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/univ...viewid215.html |

Thanks for your reply,
the first link you gave had the wrong fish pictured. The second one was dead on---they are fascinating suckers. Their body and fins are much like the Freshwater Fighting fishes, They are covered with an irridescant spots and half a false eye on the back fin that makes them mistaken for Moray Eels. The fish run from the fake eye, right into the real mouth! Thanks for info, My guy seems to be adjusting fine---he`s just a naturally shy-type. "KurtG" wrote in message ... They are easy to keep, but they will eat some of the
things that you will want to keep in your reef tank.
